About Us
How it all started.....
The shop was born out of the “Covid change” that affected all of us. The main cat (Nathan) previously worked as an interior designer flipping houses, and suddenly found himself unable to work - and it felt like the universe was nudging him toward a new path. A collaboration with a group of creatives sparked the idea to open a store, named after (and dedicated to) the notorious Cleveland. That’s how Cleveland on Oxford and our motto, “Everything has nine lives,” came to life.
As lockdowns lifted, the idea of going back to interior design no longer felt right. Continuing the store dream and “living the life” - suited the main cat much more.
We recently rebranded to That Cat Shop - a name that felt more like us as.

Everything has Nine Lives - What Does That Mean?
We’re
passionate about reviving vintage items that have been forgotten, giving them a
second chance at being worn. in this way, these pieces have “nine lives.” In
modern fashion, there’s an overconsumption of fast fashion and a growing
contribution to landfill. We want to steer the younger generation toward caring
for the planet by shopping sustainably.
What we stand (and strut) for...
Every piece in that cat shop is one-of-a-kind, from vintage 80s ballgowns to designer consignment gems by Prada, armani, and margiela. We don’t do cookie-cutter. We do curated, curious, and full of character.
Wear what you want. Stand out. Be proud of the skin you’re in. Wanna rock a tutu at the gym or take the bins out in a ballgown? Do It. Fashion should be fun, not faked.
Just choose your vibe and commit 110% — we’ve got your back!
